Your Security Is Our Priority
Keeping You Q-Secure
QuikQ has been at the forefront of fuel fraud prevention since we pioneered cardless fueling for the transportation industry in 2011. In 2017, we expanded our offerings with a fuel card payment option, incorporating specific security features for fleets fueling at non-RFID locations.
We are constantly testing and implementing new features to keep your accounts safe and secure, and we continue to drive innovation in fraud prevention through our Q-Secure suite of features and solutions, including:
SmartQ RFID
SmartQ is the only fuel payment product that authenticates your truck’s physical presence at the pump, adding a layer of security and fraud protection you won’t get anywhere else.
Our solution offers a seamless and secure cardless fueling experience for those who want to reduce the hassle of managing physical cards, and our extensive fueling network includes major chains such as Love’s, TA, TA Express, and Petro.
SmartQ RFID with Zero Fraud Guarantee
Fraud isn't just an industry issue; it's an epidemic that could derail your bottom line.
According to research, operations leaders estimate that 19% to 22% of their fleet spend is being lost to theft and fraud. SmartQ RFID was built to combat fraud and keep your operations safe. SmartQ RFID is one of several key technologies and practices that are the backbone of our Zero Fraud Guarantee.
Should the unthinkable happen and you experience a fraudulent transaction despite meeting certain conditions, QuikQ will cover the losses due to that transaction. That's our promise to you—a Zero Fraud Guarantee that lets you focus on what you do best, running your business without the looming threat of fraud.
Secure Swipe
Secure Swipe offers an innovative, real-time method for drivers to authenticate their fuel transaction purchases via SMS text messaging. This ensures the driver is physically present with their QuikQ fuel card during the purchase.
Upon swiping their QuikQ fuel card, drivers immediately receive a verification prompt on the Point of Sale (POS) system and a simultaneous text for transaction confirmation. Based on the driver's response, the transaction either proceeds or, if denied, QuikQ instantly deactivates the card, alerting both the driver and the carrier to prevent potential fraud.
Two-Factor Authentication
Protecting our customers' data in the QuikQ portal is as important to us as protecting their drivers’ transactions at the pump. That’s why we recently made Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) mandatory for portal users on September 5.
One-Hour Rule
As part of our commitment to combat fuel fraud, we've implemented the One-Hour Rule. This rule restricts fuel cards to be used only once per hour at any QuikQ accepting merchant. By limiting the use of fuel cards to once per hour, the One-Hour Rule acts as a strong deterrent to potential fraudsters. It significantly reduces the opportunity for unauthorized or suspicious transactions, helping to prevent fuel card skimming and fraudulent purchases.
The One-Hour Rule is a proactive measure that showcases QuikQ's commitment to safeguarding your fleet's financial interests and maintaining a high level of security.
